The Times, They Are A Changing.
About some things, I’m not really sad. The times change, as do the people. I’ve grown, matured and things from my past had to remain there once and for all. It is time to move on. It is a time to be happy. A time not to mourn nor to hold back. I’ve got to live it up and soar higher than the sky.
“A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together
To everything
There is a season
And a time for every purpose, under heaven
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing”
-The Byrds
Complicated?
“Cause you’re hot then you’re cold
You’re yes then you’re no
You’re in then you’re out
You’re up then you’re down
You’re wrong when it’s right
It’s black and it’s white
We fight, we break up
We kiss, we make up”
-Katy Perry
Oh, A Little Song…
“I was born to love you
With every single beat of my heart
Yes, I was born to take care of you
Every single day of my life”
-Queen
Andy comes home September 24.
Mornings.
She woke up that morning when the sun touched the top of the pine trees. An ethereal fog hung in the air, muting the sun’s brightness. She drew back the curtain and inhaled the sweet morning air. It would be a perfect day, no matter what she decided to do. She turned to her bed to wake her lover but he was not there. She walked downstairs, her feet chilled on the cool wooden floor. Breakfast was laid out on the table; a single daisy rested in a pearl white vase. He greeted her smiling and they embraced for the first time that serene morning.
She woke that morning to the sound of rain pounding off her window. There would be no lover beside her today, no warm greeting. There was only the emptiness of both heart and house. But she knew one day that the sun would peak out again and he would be laying beside her…
Uh, whoa.
WordPress again decided to change its homepage layout. Not too sure if I like it yet…
Yep, that’s about it.

Take The Bad With The Good.
Please excuse any typos that may appear in this entry. I am running off four hours of sleep and I am about ready to pass out at my desk here. Last night was Bryan’s wedding. What a beautiful ceremony! Granted it is my first wedding and I have nothing to compare it to but everything was so simple and classy. Melissa looks gorgeous in her gown and Bry was handsome as ever. The set-up was just lovely and I really need to post some pictures once I upload them onto my dear little laptop. I did find out though, that my camera does not take good indoor pictures in poor lighting. For some reason the flash makes it worse. All the more reason to get the Nikon I want. Anyways, I divert from gushing about the wedding. The food was amazing, it was great seeing the family together and it was just an awesome time. I even got up and danced! With mum at first then I met this totally awesome guy Jamie…who just happens to be Melissa’s step-brother. That was an amazing hour of dancing with a totally boss guy. I loved the look on Bryan’s face when he saw us together. But I suppose I can’t hope for too much, he does live in Maine.
While I’m still on the “good news” portion of this entry…Andy graduated from Basic! I’m so happy for him and only seven more weeks until he comes home! Squee!
Now, for the bad news. I put a lovely dent in the Ford by hitting the lamppost while backing out of the driveway. Go fucking me.
